THE SCIENCE:

Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone (MSH) is a naturally occurring peptide messenger that plays a central role in regulating

pigment development in the skin. It is produced by keratinocytes and melanocytes and binds to melanocortin receptors,

helping signal melanin formation as a protective response to UV exposure and environmental stressors. Advances in peptide

biotechnology have allowed the development of biomimetic peptides designed to resemble MSH, bind to the same receptor

sites, and influence pigment-signaling pathways without activating melanin production. Additional cosmetic actives, including

kojic acid and azelaic acid, may support even skin tone by interacting with tyrosinase—an essential enzyme involved in the

melanin pathway and by helping reduce oxidative and inflammatory triggers that contribute to visible discoloration.

Chelating agents in skincare work by binding metal ions such as iron and copper that drive oxidative reactions and melanin

After cleansing, apply 5-10 drops to dry face, neck, and

decollete avoiding the eye area. Wait 1-2 minutes when
